The Setting
The house is sat between two farmers fields in rural wiltshire, I am lucky to have such big skies either side of the house and beautiful surroundings where you can often spot a rainbow, watch a kestrel hovering above and see the Hares lazing around
The House & Garden
I can be found just outside of Devizes close to a small farmstead in Sleight. Sandwiched between two fields at the end of a by way means that we have easy access to the great outdoors, perfect for little explorers.
The house itself is warm and cosy, a real home from home setting. Children have full access to the whole ground floor. The garden is secure and has a small orchard at the back. An old stable block gives us shelter and means that we can play outside all year round no matter the weather.
My family moved here from South London in 2020 and we're working hard to transform the house into our dream home, this means that from time to time you will see some signs of DIY and renovation but this is always kept away from any children.
The Playroom
The play room is where adventurous stories are told, crafts are crafted and where make believe becomes reality. Children have free access to all of the toys and can join in the weekly activities.
Each week we focus on a different theme such as seasonal holidays, health and social topics, animals, and the natural world, each week is different.
Personal, Social and Emotional Development is a big part our ethos at little bugs
